The Avec Team conducted a Value-Ed
session for the students of Std X.
The Session was taken by Fr. Leon
Rodrigues and Mr. Joshua Fernandes.
Fr. Leon started the proceedings by
invoking the name of God. He helped the students to meditate and become aware
of themselves. Then going through the life of Nick Vujicic he helped the
students understand the meaning of life. He stated that life is beautiful and
that no one has the right to reject life. He said that Nick had a choice before
– whether to end his life or live for others – Nick chose the latter.
Joshua drawing his inspiration from
the pencil they helped the students understand that hardships and difficulties
are necessary steps towards success in life.
The session ended with a vote of
thanks.
