Forty three Teachers from the Secondary section of  Loreto Convent, Chembur , participated today in a  Teachers' Orientation Program that was organized by the AVEC team. The teachers began the session by welcoming the AVEC team  followed by an opening prayer and word of welcome. The Orientation program took place in the school auditorium,through various interactive moments coupled with PowerPoint presentations and short motivational clips. The session was taken by Fr. Cleophas Branganza . The session  ended with a vote of thanks. Many teachers took time to pen a few words of appreciation. Given below are a few of their responses:
Overall the session was excellent. It will definitely help all the teachers to inculcate values among the students and bring about a change within them.

The AVEC team once again found itself at the center of animation. The  teachers of  Mary Immaculate Girls High School, Kalina, including their Principal, attended a five hour Teachers' Orientation Program in their school hall on June 13th 2016. This was indeed an opportune time for the teachers of the secondary school to take time to rejuvenate and commitment themselves whole heartedly to their calling as educators of the young.The session was very informative and insightful. The session ended with,  vote of thanks given by a teacher. In the end the teachers came forward to write their feedback in the Avec log book:

You did it ! It was an integral session. You session touched us body, mind, heart and soul. Thankyou.

A very enlightening session. You spelt out the difference between moral science community living and value education we teachers enjoyed this session.

On 4th June 2016, 102 teachers from St.Peter's High School attended a one day session held by AVEC.  The introduction to the crowd was addressed by Mr. D'monte. The session was takes by Fr. Cleophas Braganza.He spoke about the difference between moral science, community education and value education.It was a very interactive session.The second half of the session was enriching. In the end Ms. Stephen gave the vote of thanks.
